Vincent and Alisha met in 1980. Following their initial introduction, they had no further contact until 1985, began dating, and were united in marriage on February 14, 1987. After a 6-year bout with infertility, four children were born to their union: Vincent II; Jacqueline; Justin; and Jaeden.
Retired from pastoral ministry, Vincent served as Senior Pastor of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Bradley, Illinois from 1998 to 2018. He is a Master of Organizational Leadership graduate from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois. His undergraduate degree was completed at Governor’s State University, University Park, Illinois; and, is a Certified Family Development Specialist, National Resource Center for Family Centered Practice/University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa; and a certified trainer, National Center on Fathering, Kansas City, Missouri. Vincent serves as the Executive Director of a non-profit community action agency, and has held a number of professional and ministry leadership roles on local, state and national levels in religious, social and political organizations.
Gifted in areas of administration, singing, teaching and speaking, Alisha serves alongside her husband in ministry. She too has held a number of ministry and professional positions on local and state levels, and employment tenures in municipal government, real estate, business, finance and marriage and family ministries. Alisha is a Ph.D., candidate at Capella University (Minneapolis, Minnesota), and a MBA graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois. Alisha currently manages a corporate training department in higher education.
Vincent and Alisha operate as both ministry and business professionals; and, are committed to partnering with couples, community and churches to strengthen marriages.
